SEEC members are keen to monitor trends in key data to support their work in making the case for the South East.
A member Task & Finish Group led the development of a SEEC Data Dashboard to help SEEC and its member local authorities:
- Understand strategic issues and trends affecting their areas and
- Influence government policy and investment decisions on these key issues, taking account of how South East councils are faring compared to other areas of the country.
The Dashboard reports on six important topics. These are:
- Economy and employment
- Housing and infrastructure
- Public finance and grants
- Demography
- Migration
- Environment.
LATEST DASHBOARD - DECEMBER 2011
The second edition of SEEC's Data Dashboard was published in December 2011. We anticipate the next Dashboard will be published during Summer 2012.
