Infrastructure debate
South East infrastructure needs will be a key topic of discussion at SEEC's All-Member meeting on 8 November. Members will debate how SEEC should take forward strategic transport issues and hear from IPC, BT and DFT on their infrastructure plans.
SEEC Transport Convenor Cllr David Roberston will lead a debate on SEEC's role in making the case for greater transport investment in South East.
Members will also have the opportunity to question speakers from key infrastructure bodies to understand the role that local authorities can play in making sure South East needs are met. Organisations represented include:
- The Infrastructure Planning Commission (major projects)
- BT Openreach (broadband)
- Department for Transport (major transport schemes)
