SEEC's latest newsletter highlights areas where member views on business rates and localism have been reflected in recent Government decisions. The city agenda, skills and EU issues are also covered.

In 2012, SEEC will be holding a skills action planning conference for members on 8 March. In addition, influencing work will include making the case for city powers to be given to South East councils and aiming to secure amendments to expensive and impractical EU energy efficiency proposals.
