Thank you for taking part in Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the South East.

The APPG for the South East provides a forum for Parliamentarians to discuss, with others, how to promote and develop the South East region as a great place to live, work and do business.

Secreteriat services are provided by South East Councils (SEC). With most local authorities in the region as members, SEC seeks to provide a unified democratic voice on South East interests.

 

AGENDA

1        Welcome and recognition of ‘the year past’.

2        Attendance and apologies recorded.

3        Confirmation of APPG Name and Purpose:

Name: All-Party Parliamentary Group for the South East

Purpose: “The All-Party Parliamentary Group for the South East provides a forum for Parliamentarians to discuss, with others, how to promote and develop the South East region as a great place to live, work and do business.”

4        Election and confirmation of APPG Officers:

  • Chair (and formal point of contact) 
  • Three Vice Chairs:

The following members have put themselves forward as APPG Officers:

  • Paul Holmes MP (Conservative, Hamble Valley)
  • Peter Swallow MP (Labour, Bracknell)
  • Joshua Reynolds MP (Liberal Democrat, Maidenhead)

5        Confirmation of Secretariat:

6        Approval of Income and Expenditure Statement.

7        Member views on topics of potential interest for year ahead.

8        Any other business.
