Ageing Population Workshop Dec 2012

The Ageing South East – Challenges and Opportunities

18 DECEMBER 2012, 10.30-15.00

The South East has the largest number of older people in England, expected to grow by half again over the next 20 years.  We urgently need to work together to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities this brings.

An action planning workshop ‘The ageing South East – challenges and opportunities’ was held in December 2012.  A range of experienced and inspiring speakers, including Anne Milton MP, helped inform and stimulate discussion and action planning.  Key issues and actions arising from the day will be added to this page as soon as possible.
