Following its AGM yesterday in Westminster, South East Councils (SEC) held a Parliamentary Reception for members and guests.
The event, hosted by Hastings & Rye representative, Sally-Ann Hart MP saw a gathering of around 60 people hear speeches from:
- Cllr Nicolas Heslop – new Chair of SEC
- Steve Reed MP – Labour Local Government spokesperson
- Tim Farron MP – Lib Dem Local Government spokesperson
- Cllr James Jamieson – Chair of the Local Government Association
