South East Councils (SEC) has written to the new Shadow Minister for Devolution and the English Regions Paula Barker MP.
Barker took up her role following a promotion by Leader of the Labour Party Sir Keir Starmer in his recent reshuffle of his Shadow Cabinet.
The letter congratulates the new Minister on her appointment.
It highlights that SEC will be considering appropriate fiscal levers for financial devolution in our proposed South East Finance Commission (SEFC).
The SEFC is expected to report early next year.
